#CapeTownBlogger is used by many different people who experience, document and interpret Cape Town in their own ways. That is something worth celebrating.
CapeTownBlogger.com is not here to claim ownership of that community. It is here to participate in it, amplify interesting voices and create another doorway into the people, places, projects and everyday experiences that make this city what it is.
Some stories will be mine. Others will come from bloggers, creators, community organisations and ordinary Capetonians with something worth sharing.
Because no single person gets to tell the whole story of Cape Town.
This is where I will gather stories that help us see Cape Town through different eyes—from food and neighbourhood life to accessibility, community projects, creativity, entrepreneurship and the conversations shaping our city.
The aim is not to build a directory or decide who counts as a Cape Town blogger. It is to share thoughtful work, introduce people to one another and make room for voices that may otherwise be missed.
A kitchen in Cape Town
Practical sourdough for real households: wheat and gluten-free bread, ordinary equipment and the lessons I have learned by baking through trial, adjustment and repetition.
Conversations that connect us
An archive of honest conversations with authors, water professionals, changemakers and everyday people with something worth hearing.
Building online without boxing yourself in
What building real websites and organising real information has taught me about platforms, ownership, growth and the systems beneath the shiny front door.
• Local bloggers and creators
• Community projects and neighbourhood stories
• Food, culture and everyday discoveries
• Accessible places and honest accessibility experiences
• Creative work, entrepreneurship and practical lessons
• Voices and perspectives that help us understand Cape Town differently
A large following is not a requirement. A worthwhile Cape Town story is.
If you are a Cape Town blogger, creator, community organisation or resident with a story worth sharing, I would like to hear from you.
Tell me who you are, where I can see your work and why you believe the story may interest Cape Town readers. Please only submit photographs and material that belong to you or that you have permission to share.
Features will be selected because they add something useful, thoughtful or human to the conversation—not because someone has the largest following.
